Velvet – 紫 is a double-faced carved amethyst plaque on a purple-gold braid — guardian register, mountain texture.

Design Concept

Velvet – 紫 began with the kind of quiet bracelet a wearer returns to without thinking. A carved amethyst plaque — auspicious beast on one face, cloud-scroll on the other — set on a purple, gold and white four-strand braid with pearls at its shoulders. The piece is designed to live on the wrist daily — small enough to disappear under a sleeve, present enough to be felt when the hand finds it. The kanji 紫 means purple — a small visual anchor for what the bracelet is about.

紫の岩肌に、守りの獣。

Material & Craft

Carved natural amethyst rounded-square plaque (double-faced), four-strand braid in purple, gold and white, one white pearl with small gold and brown wood beads each side, braided sliding clasp, tassel end. In the Tibetan-inspired tradition this style is associated with Zakiram, a guardian figure of wealth — we carry the reference with respect, not claim. Each piece is finished by hand in small batches. Small braid-tension or knot-position variation is intentional and part of the made-by-hand register — not a defect. The sliding-knot closure is hand-tied to allow the wrist to find its own size, and the cord is meant to soften gradually with daily wear.

Energy & Intention

Amethyst steadies; the carved beast watches. A piece in the protective register — rougher-spun, mountain-toned, made to be worn rather than kept. KAGAKI treats this register interpretively, not as a religious or medical claim — a small daily reminder rather than a promise. The bracelet is a quiet companion to a practice the wearer already has, or to one they are quietly building.

Who It's For

For someone who wants a small wrist marker rather than a statement piece — a meditator, a writer, a traveller, a friend marking a transition, a partner wearing a quiet promise. The piece is intentionally subtle: it works under cuffs and sleeves, layers with other small pieces, and softens with daily wear. The wearer who prefers a quiet object over a loud one — that is the wrist this piece is built for.

Gift Idea

For someone drawn to the bolder end of the Tibetan-inspired shelf — texture, weight, presence. The gift carries more meaning when paired with a few words of your own about why this piece was chosen — a sentence or two about the moment, the intention, or the wish the bracelet is meant to mark. KAGAKI packaging is kept simple so the piece can be the focus.

Care Note

Hand-braided cord softens with daily wear — that softening is part of the piece, not damage. Avoid prolonged water, perfume, lotions, and harsh sunlight. Remove before bathing, swimming, or sleeping. The sliding-knot closure adjusts to most adult wrists; pull gently to size and the knot will hold without re-tying.
