Design Concept

Seed – 実 began with the kind of quiet piece a wearer returns to without thinking. A strand of rainbow tourmaline seed beads — pink, green, amber, lilac in miniature — meeting one round bead of teal-leaning green jade. A harvest in necklace form. The piece is designed to sit close to the body — light enough to forget, present enough to be found by the hand during the day. The kanji 実 means seed, fruit — a small visual anchor for what the necklace is about.

Material & Craft

Natural rainbow tourmaline seed beads (multi-color, fine), one teal green jade round focal (the blue-leaning green particular to this stone), gold details, adjustable. Tourmaline color mix varies strand to strand — each is its own harvest. Each piece is finished by hand in small batches. Small variation in stone tone or knot position is part of the made-by-hand register, not a defect.
