Design Concept
Ribbon – 結 began as a small study of tying — the tiny gold-tone bow at the side of the wrist, a quiet asymmetry in a row of pink stones. The kanji 結 carries the meaning of binding, knotting, and the formation of small alliances. The piece is designed as a very soft daily ribbon — a reminder, kept at the wrist, that small things can hold.

Material & Craft
Handmade as a stretch bracelet with approximately 25 small round pink banded stones (~6–7 mm, with natural color and pattern variation), small gold-tone flower-shaped metal spacers, two small white chalcedony accent beads, and a delicate side-set gold-tone metal bow detail. Strung on a soft elastic stretch cord. Each piece is hand-strung; the placement of the bow, the spread of the spacers, and the run of the stone color carry small natural variation between bracelets.

Pink banded stones have long been associated with tender attention — the soft palette of beginning, of self-kindness, of quiet love.
