Design Concept

Medley – 和 began with the kind of quiet piece a wearer returns to without thinking. Jadeite and nephrite in their natural plurality — greens, lavenders, creams and honeys in one strand. The jade family, gathered. The piece is designed to live on the wrist daily — small enough to disappear under a sleeve, present enough to be felt when the hand finds it. The kanji 和 means harmony — a small visual anchor for what the bracelet is about.

Material & Craft

Mixed natural jadeite and nephrite rounds (multiple natural colors), elastic stringing. Each strand’s color order is its own. Each piece is finished by hand in small batches. Bead size and stone pattern vary subtly piece to piece — part of the made-by-hand register, not a defect. The elastic stringing is sized to most adult wrists.

Energy & Intention

The kanji 和 is harmony-of-different-things — the piece argues that the colors belong together because they came from the same family of stone. KAGAKI treats this register interpretively, not as a religious or medical claim — a small daily reminder rather than a promise.
