A cord bracelet with a small sakura element, interpretively read in KAGAKI’s framing as a soft daily marker of quiet attention. The word "lucky" is used in the contemporary handmade sense — not as a guarantee.
Design Concept
Petal – 花 centers on a hand-tied sakura-knot — a traditional Japanese cherry blossom motif where six small loops radiate from a single center, the way petals do. The knot is the focal point; the braided cord runs plain on either side, letting the flower knot take all the attention. Three woven variations are offered: Lavender Clarity on a soft violet cord, Sakura Renewal on a pale pink cord, Shadow Blossom on a deep charcoal cord. The kanji 花 carries the simpler sense of flower — the bloom itself, not yet a metaphor for anything.
桜の結び。やわらかく、また始まる。
Material & Craft
- Hand-braided cotton and natural-fiber cord
- Sakura-knot focal detail
- Adjustable sliding closure
- Three style variations: Lavender Clarity, Sakura Renewal, Shadow Blossom
Each bracelet is handwoven, so weave tension and tone vary slightly. That is part of the piece, not a flaw.
Energy & Intention
The sakura-knot is one of the older flower knots in Japanese textile tradition — used to mark beginnings, used to mark practice, sometimes tied at the start of a journey and untied at its return. The bracelet is designed as a sit-still piece rather than a busy-day piece. The three registers correspond to three states of attention: Lavender Clarity for the quality of a clear morning mind, Sakura Renewal for the practice of beginning again, Shadow Blossom for the work that happens in the quieter dark. The wearer is asked to choose by which state they want to return to.
Who It’s For
For the wearer who keeps a seated practice — meditation, breathwork, slow journaling, contemplative reading — and who wants an object that pairs with stillness rather than movement. The piece is heavier on the wrist than a thread bracelet; that weight is part of the cue.
Gift Idea
A companion gift for someone returning to a practice — after a long break, after a major life event, after the first commitment to begin again. The three registers let the gift speak to the state the receiver is in: clarity, renewal, or the quieter work. Ready for gifting in KAGAKI's quiet packaging.
