Design Concept

Hush – 静 began as a study of the small quiet — the room that goes still after a long conversation, the way the body settles when it finally has a moment to itself. A single hand-braided cord finished with two small soft knots, offered in three quiet pastel registers. The kanji 静 means stillness, quietness, the calm that arrives without being asked for. Hush is offered in that spirit — a small daily piece designed to read as a held breath at the wrist.

Material & Craft

Handmade with hand-braided natural fiber cord, finished with a sliding adjustable closure that suits most adult wrists. The cord carries two small hand-tied knots set close together — a quiet detail that gives the eye a place to rest without breaking the line. Each bracelet is finished by hand; the spacing of the knots, the tension of the closure, and the way the cord softens with wear all carry small natural variation between pieces.

Energy & Intention

The two small knots at the center of Hush carry a deliberate rhythm: one for the inhale, one for the exhale. The hand returning to them through the day — adjusting the cord, brushing the wrist with a fingertip — becomes a small unconscious cue for breath. KAGAKI uses the form here as a gentle anchor for that simple practice: the body remembering it is allowed to breathe twice, slowly, without making a thing of it.

The three pastel registers each suit a slightly different kind of stillness. Morning Clarity (light blue) carries the clarity of an early morning, the calm of a room just before light enters. Evening Calm (purple) carries the contemplative register of an evening, the gentleness of a day folding inward. Grounded Calm (green) carries the grounded calm of a forest floor, the steadiness of growth held quietly.
