Design Concept

Horizon – 際 began with the kind of quiet piece a wearer returns to without thinking. Half aquamarine, half smoky quartz — sea on one side, earth on the other, two metal beads marking the line where they meet. The piece is designed to live on the wrist daily — small enough to disappear under a sleeve, present enough to be felt when the hand finds it. The kanji 際 means edge, boundary — a small visual anchor for what the bracelet is about.

Material & Craft

Aquamarine and smoky quartz rounds in a half-and-half arrangement, two metal accent beads at the meridian, elastic stringing. Each piece is finished by hand in small batches. Bead size and stone pattern vary subtly piece to piece — part of the made-by-hand register, not a defect. The elastic stringing is sized to most adult wrists.
