Gaze – 眼 | Tibetan Dzi Cord Bracelet

A meditation bead bracelet with a single dzi focal — mala-inspired in form, contemporary in voice. Designed to be worn daily without ceremony, present enough to return the attention when it drifts.
Gaze – 眼 carries a small dzi-style bead set into a slim Tibetan-inspired cord. In Tibetan visual tradition, dzi beads have been worn as carriers of watchful protection — a steady regard. This is a contemporary handmade interpretation of that visual register, not a religious object: a small daily reminder of attention.
Design Concept
Gaze – 眼 holds a single Tibetan-inspired dzi-style bead at front-center — elongated, cylindrical, dark brown patterned with one white eye. Not nine, not three. One. The bracelet is built on a quieter premise than its siblings in the dzi range: that a single small painted eye, kept at the wrist, is enough for what most days actually ask of the wearer. A small gold-tone metal disc charm sits beside the focal bead — a second small bright object, balancing the bead without competing with it. The brown braided cord holds the whole piece in a single earth register. The kanji 眼 names the eye as a function rather than a feature: the act of seeing, not the organ that sees.

Material & Craft
Handmade with brown braided cord. One elongated cylindrical Tibetan-inspired dzi-style bead (dark brown / black with white eye pattern) sits at front-center, flanked by smaller accent beads and a single gold-tone metal disc charm. Sliding adjustable closure with cord-knot finishings. Each pair of cord ends is hand-tied; small variations in knot tension and bead seat are part of the handmade signature.
Energy & Intention
The single painted eye on a Tibetan-style dzi bead has, in many traditions, been read as a witness rather than a guard. The distinction matters. A guard is there to keep something out; a witness is there to register what happens. The bracelet is designed for the wearer who needs the second more than the first — someone who is not under threat, but who is going through something that wants to be seen and acknowledged. The piece is a contemporary KAGAKI study, handmade and offered in respectful conversation with Tibetan tradition rather than reproductive of it. It does not promise anything. It just sits at the wrist and notices.
Who It's For
For the wearer doing quiet, mostly invisible work — the long therapy, the writing of a difficult book, the years of building something nobody yet sees — who would like one small object at the wrist to register that the work is happening. The single eye reads as witness rather than guard; the wearer is not being protected, they are being noticed.
Gift Idea
A gift between people who are far from each other and who want the other to know they are being thought of. The single eye does not pretend to watch from across distance, but it sits at the receiver's wrist as a small standing acknowledgment: someone, somewhere, is keeping the receiver in mind. Carefully packed, ready for the journey to its keeper.
Care Note
Real natural fiber cord and a hand-finished metal charm are sensitive to water, perfume, lotions, and prolonged sunlight. Remove before bathing, swimming, or sleeping. Adjust the slide gently. Store flat away from light to keep the cord's color. See KAGAKI jewelry care for full guidance.

Who it is for
A piece for the traveler, the writer, the person whose daily work asks quiet attention — someone who wants a small visible reminder to look at the day rather than past it.
As a gift
Reads particularly well as a travel gift, a quiet leaving-home present, or a gift for a friend whose attention is part of how they care for the world.
A few questions
What is a dzi bead?
A dzi is a patterned agate bead historically found in Tibetan and Himalayan craft. In traditional reading the pattern is associated with protection and quiet attention; KAGAKI uses a contemporary handmade interpretation rather than claiming religious authenticity.
What makes Gaze different from other dzi pieces?
Gaze sets a single dzi bead inside a Tibetan-style cord — minimal, balanced, designed to read as a small everyday companion rather than a ceremonial piece.
Is the cord adjustable?
Yes — the cord is hand-knotted and adjustable to most wrist sizes; designed to sit close without pressure.
