Floret – 華 is a slim rainbow-gradient cord finished with a small sakura-style knot. The gradient palette reads as the soft register of spring; the knot carries the Japanese cultural register of small, tender attention. A contemporary handmade piece — quiet, gift-ready, worn as a daily mark of softness.

Design Concept

Floret – 華 carries no metal charm — instead, seven small sakura-inspired floral knots, each hand-tied in cotton thread, sit in a single horizontal row across a black braided cotton cord. The colors run left to right in spectrum order: pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. A thin metallic gold thread runs through the cluster, catching light only at certain angles. The kanji 華 carries the older meaning of flower as celebration — the word for what flowers, not the flower itself. The piece is designed as a kept garden of small cherry blossom knots, worn close to the wrist.

Material & Craft

Handmade on a black braided hand-braided cotton base cord with a horizontal cluster of seven small hand-knotted floral elements at front-center, in left-to-right rainbow sequence (pink → orange → yellow → green → blue → indigo → violet). A thin gold-tone metallic thread accent runs through the cluster. Sliding adjustable closure. Each piece is finished by hand; the precise petal count, knot tension, and spacing of the floral cluster carry small natural variation between bracelets.

Energy & Intention

Seven small flowers, in spectrum order, has been used in many traditions as a way of counting days, breaths, blessings, or chakras. The braided floral cord does not insist on any single reading. The wearer can use it to mark a week, to anchor a daily practice, or to hold seven small intentions kept private. What it asks is small but specific: notice the row, in passing, once a day. The piece is designed as a daily celebration that does not require an event — the bloom of having lived through a Tuesday.

Who It's For

For the wearer who makes small rituals — the seven-day reset, the morning intention, the weekly review — and who keeps color around them on purpose. The black base lets the rainbow read as bright without becoming loud.

Gift Idea

A celebratory gift for someone who keeps small practices — a seven-day pause after a major decision, a weekly Sunday ritual, a return to color after a deliberately quiet stretch. The row of seven flowers becomes the gift's quiet structure. Carefully packed in KAGAKI gift packaging.

Care Note

Real cotton cord, hand-knotted thread, and metallic thread are sensitive to water, perfume, lotions, and prolonged sunlight. Remove before bathing, swimming, or sleeping. Adjust the slide gently. Store flat away from light to keep the floral cluster's color and shape. See KAGAKI jewelry care for full guidance.

Who it is for

A piece for the wearer drawn to softer color, gentler register, and the small daily reminders that spring tends to bring.

As a gift

A natural birthday or hanami gift — for a sister, a daughter, a friend whose daily life would receive a quietly beautiful object more easily than a louder one.

A few questions

What is the sakura knot in this bracelet?

A small flower-shaped knot worked into the cord by hand — sakura, the Japanese cherry blossom, is traditionally associated with the brief, soft moments of a season. The knot is the visual centre of the piece.

What does the multi-coloured cord symbolize?

In KAGAKI’s interpretation, the rainbow cord is a soft marker of season, transition, and small daily attention — not a fixed symbolic claim. We use interpretive language throughout.

Is Floret a good piece for travel?

Yes — it is light, durable, and quietly distinctive. It tends to settle under a sleeve on planes and on long walks.
