Design Concept

Dawn – 暁 began with the kind of quiet piece a wearer returns to without thinking. A peach-orange jade tablet on a golden-olive woven cord, with a single run of red agate beads riding one side — the asymmetry is the design, like first light hitting one side of a valley. The piece is designed to sit close to the body — light enough to forget, present enough to be found by the hand during the day. The kanji 暁 means daybreak — a small visual anchor for what the necklace is about.

Material & Craft

Warm peach-orange jade tablet (~3.5cm, rounded rectangle, soft cloud veining), green-and-gold wrapped bail with a small white jade bead, one red agate bead segment with a woven gold-green knot barrel, fine golden-olive cord with adjustable tie. Each piece is finished by hand in small batches. Small variation in stone tone or knot position is part of the made-by-hand register, not a defect.
