Design Concept
Canvas – 描 began as a study of the unfinished object — the bracelet meant to be added to. A single hand-braided cord, finished with a sliding adjustable closure, designed as a quiet base for the wearer's own beads, charms, or small symbolic objects. The kanji 描 means to draw, to depict, to begin a line on a surface that is still open. Canvas is offered in five quiet color registers so the cord itself is the first mark, and what the wearer adds becomes the rest of the picture.

Material & Craft
Handmade with hand-braided natural fiber cord, finished with a sliding adjustable closure that suits most adult wrists. Quiet hand-tied detailing at the closure; no hardware that draws attention away from the cord itself. Each bracelet is finished by hand; the spacing of the braid, the tension of the closure knot, and the way the cord softens with wear all carry small natural variation between pieces. The braid is firm enough to thread small charms or beads through, and gentle enough to wear daily without irritation.
Energy & Intention
A bracelet base is a quiet form. It does not insist on a single meaning; it waits for one. Across many cultures, the cord at the wrist has carried protection, intention, and remembrance — but the meaning has always been brought to the cord by the person who wears it. Canvas is offered in that spirit. A surface for what the wearer wants to keep close. A piece that can grow over time, with each added bead or charm, into something only one person could have made.
Who It's For
For wearers who want to build their own bracelet — adding a single bead from a meaningful trip, a charm from a loved one, or a small symbol that carries personal meaning. Canvas works equally well as a finished piece worn on its own, or as the starting point for a slowly assembled object of personal history. Five color registers allow the wearer to choose the cord that best suits the meaning they intend to carry.
Gift Idea
A considered gift for a friend who loves to make things, a partner beginning a new chapter, or anyone moving through a season of personal change. Pair Canvas with a single bead or charm to suggest the start of a longer story — or give the bracelet alone and let the wearer decide what to add. Thoughtfully wrapped in KAGAKI gift-ready packaging.
Care Note
Real natural fiber cord is sensitive to water, perfume, lotions, and prolonged sunlight. Remove before bathing, swimming, or sleeping. Adjust the slide gently. When adding beads or charms, thread carefully to avoid stressing the braid. Store flat away from light to keep the cord's color and tension. See KAGAKI jewelry care for full guidance.
