Design Concept

Breath – 息 holds the simplest of the studio's intentions: a single soft cord at the wrist, two colors woven together so the eye reads them as one tone, designed as a small companion for the days when the body has forgotten it is allowed to breathe slowly. The kanji 息 names the breath itself — the rhythm that quietly carries the body through every difficult and ordinary day. The piece is offered in three calming registers, each one matched to a different kind of body needing to come back to itself.

Material & Craft

Handmade with hand-braided natural fiber cord, two soft cord colors woven together, finished with a sliding adjustable closure that suits most adult wrists. Quiet hand-tied detailing at the closure; no hardware that draws attention away from the cord itself. Each bracelet is finished by hand; the interweaving of the two cords, the tension of the closure knot, and the way the cord softens with wear all carry small natural variation between pieces.

Energy & Intention

The cord on the wrist has, across many cultures, carried a similar register — a small physical reminder to return to the present, to the body, to the breath. Breath is offered in that long tradition — a piece designed for wearers moving through busy seasons, anxious nights, or recovery work.
