Noir Petal – 黒花の余光 holds a quieter contrast than the other floral pieces in the studio: black drops set against gold-tone floral structure, finished with a small butterfly that softens the line where the bloom becomes the drop. The combination reads as evening — the floral identity is intact, but the palette has been moved into the after-hours register. The kanji 黒花の余光 names the lingering glow of a black flower; in Japanese aesthetics, the phrase carries the older meaning of beauty that becomes visible only in low light.

Energy & Intention

Black against gold has, in many design traditions, been read as the register of considered formality — what is worn when one wants to be present in a setting without being the brightest thing in the room. Noir Petal translates that into a small floral piece: the bloom is still there, but it has gone darker, and the small butterfly between the petal and the drop reads as a brief pause rather than as ornament. The piece is designed for the wearer who has earned the right to wear evening tones on an ordinary Tuesday.
